Gopi Addanki has a long and distinguished career as an entrepreneur, including being a sole proprietor, founder, partner and significant shareholder in the IT Industry. Gopi Addanki has held several responsible positions throughout his career which began at Infosys during its early years. Subsequently in 1995, Gopi setup Kanbay's first Offshore Center of excellence at Pune, India with over 500 people. Gopi Addanki continues to work with the Senior and Executive Management of various corporations to help manage their IT portfolios. As an active member of several professional organization associations, Gopi has implemented special training programs for non-IT staff to help transition them to IT positions. Gopi Addanki is a member of the American Management Association. Gopi Addanki completed his Bachelors in Engineering from BITS Pilani and holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Chicago.
Jenson has an illustrious career spanning 19 years in the IT industry. Jenson has extensive experience playing chief technology architect and lead roles in rolling out multi-million dollar projects in Retail and Financial Services verticals. Jenson began his career with Infosys during its infancy as a developer and was holding the position of Programming Coordinator of its then biggest North American project when he left three years later. Jenson continued on to another startup, Kanbay Inc., in Chicago. At Kanbay he was responsible for setting up its Client/Server practice, which grew from a handful to hundreds of people during his tenure. Jenson then co-founded Media Systems, Inc. in 1996. Jenson holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from University of Kerala.
Venu Kalapala has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Venu Kalapala has extensive experience in Infrastructure Management, Packaged Applications and Custom Application development and support, and has been instrumental in developing and guiding the Global Delivery practice. Venu Kalapala started his career with Infosys and was a key contributor to the development of banking and warehousing management systems. Subsequently, at Kanbay Inc. Venu managed their Oracle practice. After Kanbay was acquired by Capgemini, Venu served as Vice President and headed their Global Infrastructure Management Services for Financial Services business unit. Venu worked closely with the global CIO and participated in operations management and strategic planning as part of the Global IT Steering Committee. Venu created and managed India's first exclusive Websphere Development Center with over 100+ servers sustaining $70 million in revenue. Venu pioneered many resource and skill sourcing concepts at Capgemini. Venu holds a Masters in Computer Applications from University of Kerala.
Ram is a key member of the Technical Advisory board at Media and he also serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to serving Media as an independent director, Ram founded a company focused on developing iPhone applications. The first iPhone application developed by the company founded by Ram was (at one time) the #1 ranked paid app in the App-Store "News category". Ram was a Principal at Microsoft and won Gold Star awards for his work in the Windows-Live-Mobile team. Ram led the team that developed the V1 version of MSN Mobile Windows-Live Hotmail and his team developed the first-generation WAP and ASP.NET/MMIT applications for Microsoft. Ram's team also developed a wide range of other applications from MSN-Mobile Passport to web site signup and user registration/provisioning. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ram worked on an IBM internship while obtaining his masters degree in Computer Science. Ram's professional career started in Infosys with the design and development of a software message switch system on MS-DOS for the rural Indian telegraph network.
Larry has a 20-year track record of performance characterized by successful technology solution implementations, development of dynamic and responsive IT teams, and sensibly managing IT budgets and resources in a variety of firms and industries. He has managed all aspects of technology from infrastructure and support to building systems to support strategic business initiatives. In addition, Larry has been responsible for facilities and data center planning, integrating IT operations of acquired firms, outsourcing IT functions, and developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans. His work also includes developing security policies and ensuring IT procedures conform in all respects to state, federal and industry requirements. He has been a change agent as his clients have embraced new technologies, merged with other organizations, or capitalized on new business opportunities. In all circumstances, Larry's primary driver is to produce superior IT value while focusing on growing the firms' bottom line. Larry's professional and technical experience is complemented by a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
